Terms and Conditions of Membership to Tour One Pass.

1. Purpose
To define the term and conditions both Tour One Pass and its users must abide by while using and providing services.
2. Definition
Glossary used in this agreement are as follows:
  • 1. Subscription (sign up): Completion of service contract by agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, and authenticating social media channel provided by Tour One Pass.
  • 2. User: Individual who agrees to these Terms and Conditions, and is approved to use Tour One Pass by social media authentication.
  • 3. Unique Identifier (UID): Code issued via social media authentication, and a user identification value used in Tour One Pass linked sites.
  • 4. Social Media Authentication: Login system in which user chooses a social media channel to log in with by means of authentication, and thus allowing social media to provide information requested by Tour One Pass.
  • 5. Linked Site: An affiliated site that can be logged in using Tour One Pass.
  • *Terms not defined in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by terms and conditions for individual services and regulations for use.
3. Other Applicable Laws
The Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the Telecommunications Business Act, standard commercial practices in the Republic of Korea, and other applicable laws.
4. Effectiveness and Modification of the Terms and Conditions
  • 1. These terms and conditions will be posted on the Tour One Pass website and will be effective the moment subscription is complete.
  • 2. If changes are made to these Terms and Conditions, the revised version will be posted on the Tour One Pass website and be effective immediately. Notification will be sent to user at least seven (7) days prior to posting.
  • 3. If user disagrees to revised Terms and Conditions, user may delete account.
5. Miscellaneous
The Terms and Conditions shall be construed and executed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Execution of the Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of a court in the Republic of Korea.
6. Privacy Management
  • 1. Tour One Pass can collect minimum "user" information necessary for service provision.
  • 2. When Tour One Pass collects personal identifiable information of user, the consent of the relevant "user" shall be obtained.
  • 3. Tour One Pass shall not use the collected information outside of its purpose or provide it to a third party without the consent of the "user," and all responsibilities shall be borne by the Tour One Pass in case of violation. However, exceptions shall be made in the following cases:
    • a) A particular individual is provided in an unidentifiable form for statistics preparation, academic research or market research.
    • b) Where there is an inevitable reason under the provisions or statutes of the Terms and Conditions.
  • 4. “User” may withdraw consent to the above paragraph at any time.
  • 5. Tour One Pass shall endeavor to protect user's personal information as prescribed by the relevant statutes. The protection and use of personal information shall apply to the relevant statutes and the Korea Tourism Organization's personal information protection policy.
7. Subscription Validation
  • 1. Any applicant who agrees to social media authentication and provides requested information qualifies for subscription validation and can use Tour One Pass.
  • 2. Tour One Pass subscription can be cancelled for the following reasons:
    • a) When applying using other person's social media account;
    • b) When applying for the purpose of undermining or destroying the welfare or customs of society;
    • c) When intruding with other people's use of services, or stealing or copying others’ information;
    • d) When doing acts prohibited by statutes and/or these Terms and Conditions;
    • e) When failing to meet other requirements.
8. Consent to the Use of User Information
  • 1. The User Information Protection Policy is applied to information of all Tour One Pass users.
  • 2. Tour One Pass user information is collected, used, managed, and protected as follows:
    • a) Collection: Information provided at time of subscription and login through social media authentication, and directly entered information
      *Personal identifiable information is not collected
    • b) Usage: Tour One Pass does not leak or distribute collected information to third parties. Unless requested by law or from government agencies, or when user discloses the information.
    • c) Management: In order to protect or of personal manage user’s personal information, user can edit his/her information at any time in “Edit My Info.”
    • d) Protection: Only the user can view, edit, or delete the user's personal information, which is managed entirely by the user's login status. Therefore, user should not let others know their information.
9. User Information Protection
  • 1. From the moment the user completes the subscription process, he/she is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the information entered, and the user is responsible for all results that occur while using the user's social media authentication.
  • 2. The user is responsible for all management of social media authentication information. If social media authentication was illegally used, user must report it to Tour One Pass immediately. All responsibility for not reporting lies with user.
  • 3. Users shall ensure that access is terminated and completely logged out at the end of each session, and Tour One Pass shall not be held responsible for damages or losses caused by failure to log our and terminate session.
12. Using Linked Sites
  • 1. Users can use sites listed under “Linked Sites” without additional subscription procedures, and can use multiple sites with a single login.
  • 2. Depending on management policies of the Korea Tourism Organization, linked sites may be added or deleted. Any changes will be announced through the Tour One Pass website.
  • 3. Some linked sites may request additional information to provide specific services, and if user agrees to such services, the terms and conditions of pertaining site will precede the terms and conditions of Tour One Pass.
  • 4. The user is responsible for the management of his/her authentication information, and it shall not be notified or made available to anyone other than those defined in the "Agree to Provide Personal Information to 3rd Party".
  • 5. If the user recognizes that his/her authentication information has been stolen or is being used by someone who is not subject to provision defined in "Agree to provide personal information to 3rd party," user shall notify Tour One Pass immediately and follow instructions.
  • 6. No legal liability shall be borne for damages caused by the user's theft of authentication information without reasons attributable to Tour One Pass.
13. Obligations of Tour One Pass
  • 1. Tour One Pass shall not engage in any act in violation of laws or the Terms and Conditions, and shall provide uninterrupted and reliable services under the Terms and Conditions.
  • 2. Tour One Pass shall assume full liability and provide reasonable compensation for any losses that it causes intentionally.
14. Obligations of Users
User agrees not to engage in any of the following acts:
  • 1. Providing false information when registering for membership or changing user information;
  • 2. Infringing upon a third party's human rights or intellectual property rights, or upon services provided by K-friends;
  • 3. Surreptitiously using another user's ID;
  • 4. Disseminating information disruptive of public order and morals in any form including texts and images;
  • 5. Committing a criminal act;
  • 6. Acts in violation of laws and the Conditions of Use; and
  • 7. Repeatedly upload contents that do not align with the values of Tour One Pass and the Korean Tourism Organization.
